How much of your tax dollars goes to Planned Parenthood? [11 Jul 2007|08:06pm]
Check out full article.

While the rate of PPFA's massive budget increases has slowed, the amount the abortion-committing goliath generates from American taxpayers has risen by a staggering 10.75 percent. In the 2004-2005 Fiscal Year, the elected representatives of American taxpayers gave $272.7 million to Planned Parenthood, which represented 30.9 percent of its overall budget. In the 2005-2006 Fiscal Year, American taxpayers provided more than a third of the behemoth's budget ($305.3 million).

***PLEASE READ*** donating clothing for babies/children [03 Sep 2005|09:49pm]

I may find somewhere else to send donations, but this is what I'm thinking as of right now...

It says they need clothing.

Leave a comment if you're interested in donating money ($5 will get a few outfits at the consignment store I'm going to) or clothing. I'll collect as much as I can and then send it all at once. If you have some old clothes that your baby has outgrown, that's perfect. That's what I have right now...TONS of clothes Dylan has outgrown. And 2 huge trash bags FULL of blankets! If you want to add a dollar or two for shipping, that'd help too.

Child Abuse Has Increased Over 600% Since Abortion’s Legalization in 1973.

Legalizing abortion was supposed to help reduce child abuse, since it was assumed most abused children were unwanted at birth. But this theory has been disproved by scientific studies as well as by the obvious evidence that child abuse has sharply increased since abortion became legal.
Confirmed Cases of Child Abuse in the U.S.

1973 167,000
1980 785,100 370%
1996* 1,220,000 630%

*Estimated by CDC, U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, National Center of Child Abuse & Neglect

Rather than helping stop child abuse, legal abortion has actually contributed to its sharp rise due to effects abortion has on women’s self esteem and ability to deal with stress-two important factors which cause child abuse.

Cites Dr. Philip Ney in a widely read study on the connection between abortion and child abuse: "…elective abortion is an important cause of child abuse."

"Recent evidence indicates many women harbor strong guilt feelings long after their abortions. Guilt is one important cause of child battering and infanticide. Abortion also lowers women’s self-esteem and there are studies reporting a major loss of self-esteem in battering parents…"

-P. Ney, M.D., "Relationship Between Abortion & Child Abuse", Canada Jour. Psychiatry, vol. 24, 1979, pg. 610-620

The Average Abortions Procedure Takes 5 to 10 Minutes. The Average Wait for Adoption Takes 2 to 10 Years.

Approximately 2,000,000 couples in America are currently ready and waiting to adopt.
Only 50,000 babies are placed for adoption each year.

Only 2% to 3% of the more than 1,000,000 teenagers who will become pregnant this year will place their child for adoption. Over 40% will chose abortion.

Would you consider abortion in the following 4 situations?

1. There's a preacher and his wife who are very, very, poor. They already have 14 children. Now she finds out she's pregnant with 15th. They're living in tremendous poverty. Considering their poverty and the excessive world population, would you consider recommending she get an abortion?

2. The father is sick with sniffles. The mother has TB. They have 4 children. The first child is blind, the second is dead, the third is deaf, and the fourth has TB.She finds she's pregnant again. Given the extreme situation, would you consider recommending abortion?

3. A white man raped a 13 year old black girl and she got pregnant. If you were her parents, would you consider recommending abortion?

4. A teenage girl is pregnant. She's not married. Her fiancé is not the father of the baby, and he's very upset. Would you consider recommending abortion?

If you said yes:

In the first case, you have just killed John Wesley. One of the great evangelists in the 19th century.

In the second case, you have killed Beethoven.

In the third case, you have killed Ethel Waters, the great black gospel singer.

If you said yes to the fourth case, you have just declared the murder of Jesus Christ.

HI I'm new!

I'm Jenna, 23, married to Danny (almost 35) for almost 2 years. We have a 6 month daughter named Dominique Faith.
She was born July 31, 2004.

Pictures!Collapse )

I was always prolife. Even before I had my daughter. After she was born, though, that's when I became really really really political/outspoken about being prolife.
Just thought I'd mention that. :)
